 The Danubius Hotel Astoria in the heart of Budapest is built on the site of the medieval town walls and is one of the most charming old-style hotels of Hungary´s capital.
Opened in 1914, it was named after the world-famous Waldorf Astoria in New York.
The newly renovated, air-conditioned deluxe rooms offer lots of space and elegant antique-like white furniture. Standard rooms are situated on the Magyar street wing and feature soundproofed windows, air-conditioning and beech wood furniture.
The traditional, yet trendy Mirror Café & Restaurant serves excellent Hungarian delicacies as well as inventive dishes, combining Eastern and Western flavours. Beverages include a premium selection of wines from Hungarian growers. Savouring some cake, ice cream and coffee specialities, you can feel the atmosphere of a typical turn-of-the-century Budapest café.
