Klaipėda (en alemany Memel o Memelburg; en Polonès: Kłajpeda) és la capital del Comtat de Klaipėda i la única ciutat de Lituània que disposa d'un port en el Mar Bàltic. Es troba situat a la desembocadura del Riu Neman.
Té uns 194.400 habitants (2002), dels 202.900 que en tenia el 1989. En l'actualitat, Klaipeda és un port de ferry|ferris amb connexions amb Suècia, Dinamarca i Alemanya.
