Cardiff: Guide
Cardiff (en gal·lès Caerdydd) és la capital i la ciutat més important de Gal·les. Es troba a la badia de Bristol, al sud-est de Gal·les i prop de la frontera amb Anglaterra. Es va expandir enormement durant el segle XIX a causa de la indústria minera i el tràfic dels seus ports. Al cens de l'any 2001 la població de Cardiff era de 305.340 habitants.
Història
Cardiff va ésser fortificada pels Eduard VII, i el 20 de desembre del 1955 passa a ésser la capital de Gal·les.
